Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2021 at 12pm CEST.
The Concept 2021 that inspires upcoming exhibitions, performances and talks is Discoveries and Findings, two contiguous and overlapping concepts that lead to the adoption of a new or additional point of view and highlight forgotten, ignored, undervalued perspectives. In the search for lost objects, lost memories and forgotten places, existing constructs emerge that reveal new perspectives, the discovery follows the finding. In other cases, the discovery comes suddenly, regardless of the finding, but determines a new reality, the finding follows the discovery. Blurred boundaries, where what is new changes perceptions and becomes the discovery of the future, a sort of legacy that can be lost, that can be forgotten and can in turn be rediscovered.
The winning project will be selected by a special jury composed of Chiara Ruberti codirector of Photolux, Fabrizio Albertini photographer and artist, Emanuele Camerini photographer and artist, Tommaso Parrillo publisher and founder of Witty Books and Giovanni Albore photographer and founder of Scuola Spaziotempo. The winner of the call will be awarded the production of an exhibition that will become part of the official program of the Festival and will be set up in one of the locations of Radar – Flussi della Fotografia Contemporanea 2021. The winner himself will participate in the preparation of the exhibition.
